As part of our neurodevelopmental needs resources, parents/ carers of neurodivergent children can watch our Navigating the Maze Workshops. Its purpose is to support parents/ carers to become experts to their children, by understanding and responding to their presenting needs. In doing this, parents/ carers can become co-therapists to their children, and in doing this uncover and recognise their amazing gifts. The workshop was created by professionals with both lived experience and knowledge and experience of working clinically with neurodivergent children.
Once listening to all the videos, we understand that you may have further questions, or want to run through scenarios specific to your child. Therefore, we have set up an online Question & Answer forum.
We are offering this quarterly. Please see available dates and links listed on the Eventbrite page. If there are no dates, please check back, we will be updating them regularly.
For clarity, these sessions:
- Are for up to 15 parents who have completed Navigating the Maze Workshop
- Will be facilitated by Neurodevelopmental Spoke Clinicians
- Aim to provide you with additional information and support that will compliment the workshop videos
Please register by following the link to Eventbrite and book onto the date you will like to attend. You will then be sent a link to join. We will aim to send this link by the day before the Q&A.
*Please note that we won’t be able to discuss assessment waitlists specific to your child in this forum.
