12 days of wellbeing tips - 14th to the 25th DecemberThis month we are launching our 12 days of wellbeing campaign, which focuses on ways you can support your mental health during this festive period.

The social media campaign which is aimed at young people who use our services, will run from the 14 December to the 25 December. There will be a range of advice, signposting and tips available during the 12 days.

We have joined up with Kooth, Consulting Youth Advisors (CYA), Surrey County Council to name a few. We also have tips and advice from Mindworks clinicians and professionals on the ways they look after their wellbeing in the run up to Christmas.

Please do follow us on our socials and share widely with friends and family during this period. We have also posted each day’s video below for you if you are unable to connect on socials.

Day 3 - Kooth

Today, we have some great wellbeing tips from Kooth. Kooth provide free, confidential mental health support to young people aged 10-18 in Surrey.

This video highlights the Mindworks map, which was co-produced with children and young people to support navigating our services. It shows you what services there are but also ones that are available to you without a referral!

Today’s video features the wonderful Consulting Youth Advisors (CYA) giving their top tips on things they do to look after their mental health and wellbeing. CYA is a participation group for young people who are passionate about making emotional wellbeing and mental health services in Surrey better.

The plan includes four questions, which can support you and those around you when you are feeling overwhelmed.

Day 12 - Christmas Day

Take time this Christmas Day to look after yourself. This day can be overwhelming, so it is important to do things for yourself, whether that is talking with friends, getting some fresh air, or listening to your favourite music.
