Service Description
Our Crisis Intervention Service provides specialist assessment for children and young people, from age six to their 18th birthday, in crisis presenting at any of Surrey's district general hospitals (DGHs).
The team offers seven day follow-ups and short-term treatment sessions in the community. They work across Surrey and receive requests for support via the Access and Advice team, our Community Teams and the DGHs.
Requests for support
This is not a direct request service; we only accept requests for support from health and social care professionals.
Young people who are in crisis can be directed to us when presenting at any of Surrey’s district general hospitals (DGHs). Young people and their families can also be directed to us by their local practitioner.
To access support from this service, a professional must create a request for support. If you are a professional, visit the request support page to find out more information on how to do this.
